The Providence Cancer Institute is seeking a full-time board-eligible/board certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to join its growing team of breast cancer specialists in Portland Oregon. Qualified candidates will have fellowship training or a strong background and interest in breast reconstruction, oncoplastic reconstruction and general reconstructive microsurgery. This position benefits from a built-in referral base of breast surgical oncologists, an extensive network of primary and specialty clinics in Oregon and Southwest Washington. ♦ Comprehensive medical/research center
♦ Board-certified/board-eligible in plastic surgery required
♦ Breast reconstruction, oncoplastic reconstruction or general reconstructive microsurgery background is preferred
♦ Experience in lymphedema reconstruction highly desired, but not required
♦ New graduates with fellowship training are welcome to apply

Where You’ll Work

Providence Cancer Institute brings together the leading cancer specialists, clinical and research teams of Providence Health and Services – Oregon. This position will be based primarily at the Westside Oncology Clinic on the campus of Providence St. Vincent’s Medical Center, which aligns tightly with other network sites, including the Earle A. Chiles Research Institute in the Robert W. Franz Cancer Institute on the campus of Providence Portland Medical Center; the Westside Oncology Clinic on the campus of St. Vincent’s Medical Center; and oncology clinics on the campuses of Providence Newberg Medical Center, Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital, Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center, Providence Medford Medical Center and Providence Seaside Hospital. Multidisciplinary, tumor-site-specific teams work together to give patients and their families the best care possible and access to the most promising clinical trials and advanced technology.
