University Orthopedics is seeking an Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction Surgeon to join the Newport and Westerly, Rhode Island offices. The position has been created by our expansion in Southern Rhode Island and partnerships with Newport Hospital and Westerly Hospital. The successful candidate will have office hours in the Newport, Rhode Island and Westerly, Rhode Island offices and operate at both Newport Hospital and Westerly Hospital with some outpatient work possible at the University Orthopedics East Bay Surgery Center. The position entails some General Orthopedics as well as Adult Reconstruction subspecialty work.

Minimum requirements include board eligible/board certified with fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction/primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty. Prefer candidates with experience in outpatient total hip and total knee arthroplasty surgery. Strong clinical background with a commitment to excellence in patient care is required.
