POSITIONS RECRUITING: Behavioral Neurology, Headache, Movement Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromuscular, Sleep Medicine, and General Neurology.

IDEAL CANDIDATE: Specialty expertise, BC/BE in Neurology

RANK: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

SALARY: Very competitive with additional productivity based incentive, J-1 Wavier Position Available.

CURRENT STATUS: >20 faculty in Neurology covering Dementia, Epilepsy, Headache, Movement Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromuscular, Sleep Medicine, Stroke, and Neuro-ICU.

FACILITIES: Dedicated 28 bed Neurosciences Center with 6 bed EMU; 14 bed Neurosciences ICU, Comprehensive Stroke program, Level IV Epilepsy program, MDA/ALS clinics. Accredited Sleep program. Largest Neurologic Care Team in mid-Missouri.


RESEARCH: Academic opportunities are offered by Department and University’s Institute for Clinical and Translational Science.


CURRENT FUNDED RESEARCH: Sleep Medicine, TBI, Cerebrovascular Disease, Neuromuscular Disorders, Autism, Parkinson Disease & Neurocritical Care.

FUNDING SOURCES: NIH, VA (Merit Award), Clinical research studies
MUHC: Comprehensive academic medical center, large network of hospitals, clinics, and telehealth sites. School of Medicine has > 675 faculty physicians and scientists & > 1,000 medical students, residents, and fellows seeking advanced education. MUHC named one of the “150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare” by Becker’s Hospital Review for 2019.
