Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Fellowship

This intraoperative neuromonitoring fellowship program at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center is a one-year program dedicated to the clinical interpretation and application of intraoperative neuromonitoring.  Fellows gain robust exposure to neurosurgical, orthopedic, ENT, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures at tertiary care pediatric and adult hospitals.  This approach facilitates exceptional training in interpreting evoked potentials, electroencephalography, electromyography, electrocorticography, and cortical mapping during awake craniotomies. Fellows will have diverse opportunities for clinical and translational research and will be well suited for careers in intraoperative neuromonitoring.

Applicants should have completed an ACGME approved residency in Neurology (adult or pediatric) and be eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.  ACGME or non-ACGME tracks may be pursued.
