The University of Michigan Department of Urology is seeking a fellowship-trained (FPMRS or GURS) candidate for a position within the Division of Neurourology and Pelvic Reconstruction. This Assistant or Associate Professor appointment is on the University of Michigan Medical School Instructional Track. The selected candidate will be at the U-M affiliated VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System with opportunities to also work in the University of Michigan Health System clinics and operating rooms.

The Division of Neurourology and Pelvic Reconstruction (NPR) is internationally recognized as an academic leader in FPMRS and GURS. The Division is comprised of nine faculty members and three advanced practice providers. The Department of Urology, which celebrated its centennial in 2019, is composed of more than 50 fulltime faculty members and is fully committed to the academic tripartite mission. Ample support and resources exist within the Dow Division of Health Services Research and the Institute for Health Policy and Innovation (IHPI) at U-M.

Individuals with FPMRS or GURS fellowship certification are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be oriented toward developing an independently-funded research portfolio, have experience in the VA system, and have an interest in an academic urologic career. Those interested should send a curriculum vitae and letter of interest to Dr. John Stoffel, Division Chief of NPR (jstoffel@med.umich.edu).
