TITLE: Assistant Professor

DUTIES: Diagnosis of all GI biopsies that involve special stains, correlation with clinical data, routine laboratory, and specialized molecular testing (small/large bowel, liver, gall bladder, etc.). Teaching responsibilities will include daily one-to-one teaching at the daily case sign out sessions, and weekly/monthly didactic lectures to pathology trainees. Collaborative investigator of clinical and research projects. Present diagnosis/cases at multidisciplinary GI conferences.

REQUIREMENTS: M.D., four years of residency in Clinical Pathology, one year of fellowship in Surgical Oncologic Pathology with breast focus and one year of fellowship in Gastrointestinal Surgical Pathology.

SPECIAL

REQUIREMENTS: AL medical license, ABP AP/CP certified

WAGE: $95,640 - $150,000/year
