The Department of Radiation Oncology is looking for either an
Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant for their Virtua Health Locations which are split between the Moorestown and Voorhees, NJ Primary responsibility will be Symptom management, follow-ups, and survivor-ship. This would be done in an independent fashion and will encompass a few disease sitesAll APN/PA's function under the guidelines as designed by the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center medical staff guidelines and are credentialed through that body. The APN/PA's will be held accountable through a formal job description, delineation of privileges, and through their agreement with their collaborating physician and a Collaborative Practice Agreement. All clinicalwork hours and associated requirements will be defined and managed under the direction of the collaborating physician/division designee and within the Human Resource guidelines. The Nurse Practitioner contributes to excellence in education, leadership, professional contribution, and practice.Licensed to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey State Board of Nursing Regulations \n\nor\n\nLicensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the New Jersey State Board of Medicine Regulations.\n\nPrior to employment, the APN/PA's must be reviewed by the Credentials Committee and approved by the Medical Board.\n\nCertification as an APN or PA-C is required at the time of employment.\n\nMSN or MHS required\n\nNJ RN licensure (RN) RN\n\nNJ CRNP licensure \n\nNJ Prescriptive Authority\n\nNational Board Certification Required\n\nBLS/CPR, as a healthcare provider as per the American Heart Association (For providers in the ambulatory setting)\n\nACLS (For providers in the acute care setting)\n\nNew Grad and Experienced candidates will be considered.
