The Department of Orthopedic Surgery specializing in Spine is searching for a dynamic Physician Assistant to work at their Ambulatory practice at Pennsylvania hospital.The Physician Assistant will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services and see patients for the spine service, serves as second assist in the OR once a week and see patients independently, as delegated by a physician. Working as members of the health care team, they will take medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x rays, and make diagnoses.
Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and a Master of Medical Science.\n\nCPR/ BLS Certifications.\n\nPA license and certificate.\n\nSome Health Care experience preferred.\n\nAbility to use a personal computer\n\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Word, Internet functions, Voice mail, Email preferred\n\nSupervisory Experience preferred
